APPLY FOR THE LEGAL PROJECT PRACTITIONER™ (LPP) CERTIFICATION

This form is used by certified Legal Project Practitioners™ (LPP) wishing to renew their certification after the five (5) year validation period is ending or ended. As the applicant has already met the workplace prerequisites to have the certification, the applicant requires only to provide confirmation of their ongoing professional development and / or workplace application of their Legal Project Management skills.

Examples of activities that can be used to validate an applicant’s ongoing skills development that relates to the last 3-year period to demonstrate an upkeep or improvement in their LPM knowledge and capabilities may include:

• completing an application, or winning, one or more IILPM LPM Award that demonstrates workplace excellence;

• attendance at one or more continuing professional development workshops conducted by an IILPM Accredited Training Provider (ATP);

• attendance, or watching the videos post-event, of one or more of the IIPLM Live annual conference events;

• completion of an IILPM ATP-delivered university program;

• undertaking any published research that involves legal project management;

• working in a law firm applying Legal Project Management for legal matters or internal process improvement projects;

• working in a ALSP applying Legal Project Management for legal matters or internal process improvement projects;

• working in an inhouse legal department or court applying Legal Project Management;

• undertaking any other project management or related commercial training (please specify the details below);

• working with law firms in the capacity of an LPM adviser, consultant or trainer; and/or

• another reason(s) the applicant believes demonstrates their capacity (please specify):

On the renewal payment and IILPM’s acceptance of this application, the applicant will be able to continue to use the LPP logo and the post-nominals LPP after their name during the re-certification period to confirm their competency level. The new certification will be issued in electronic format.
